For this week, I was tasked with creating sample geometry for my game. In order to keep things simple, geometry for Higgs-Boson comes mostly in the form of square tiles. The decision for this is twofold; first, it allows me to create simple geometry for quick testing and, second, using the square tiles is a viable approach for the final game, given the visual aesthetic I'm going for. In theory, I could be able to use all or most of the current substitute geometry, but with different textural choices later down the line.
Some sample geometry as it appears within UDK
I also constructed maps for the majority of the levels that will be featured within the game prototype. Below are a few sample maps.
Due this week were simple level layouts within UDK. While I did not complete all of the levels, much like with laying out the maps, I did manage to complete the bulk of the planned levels.
